Private Tuition

Can’t make it to one of our scheduled workshops, or prefer a one-on-one setting? Our private tuition is designed to help you confidently learn the basics of furniture painting, including sanding, painting, and finishing techniques using our specialist chalk furniture paint from Blake & Taylor.

Inclusions

  • Expert guidance: One-on-one time with our founder, Sarah Goodwin, hosted either in the comfort of your own home or at our studio.
  • Equipment provided: Full use of all necessary tools, including sanding equipment and brushes, during your session.
  • Colour choice: Help selecting the perfect shade from our unique colour range.

Details

  • Cost: $250 for the session, plus the cost of your chosen paint and finishes from our Blake & Taylor products.
  • Timing: Weekdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm (4 hours), with the flexibility to add an extra hour if needed.
  • Project Size: Perfect for small items.

What types of workshops do you offer?

We offer various hands-on workshops covering furniture painting and decoupage.

What is included in the workshop price?

The price covers the materials needed (paint, brushes, tools), light refreshments, and use of the necessary equipment during the session.

If you attend an upcycling workshop, we will ask you to bring a small piece of furniture with you.

What is your cancellation policy for workshops?

We understand that plans can change, so we aim to be as flexible as possible. If you need to cancel or reschedule 7 days or more before your workshop, we offer a full refund or a move to a new date.

For cancellations made less than 7 days prior, a 50% cancellation fee applies, though you are more than welcome to transfer your spot to a friend.

Please note that we are unable to provide refunds for cancellations made within 24 hours or for no-shows on the day.
